Maple MV-1 Short Track Speed Skating Boot – Heat-Moldable Carbon Skating Boot
The Maple MV-1 short track speed skating boot is designed for short track skaters seeking a combination of support, control and a precise fit. The boot features a Dual-Laminate uni-body carbon shell with Maple-Z FX Flex Technology, combining structural stiffness with controlled flexibility. Its redesigned standard last and modified toe construction are intended to support foot stability when entering and exiting corners.
The Thermo-Z construction allows the Maple MV-1 to be heat-molded for a more personalized fit. The material can also be shaped around the ankle bones to accommodate individual foot contours. Low-profile forefoot support and an orthopedic-grade cushioning system contribute to comfort during short track training and racing.
Additional construction features include a high-impact epoxy lamination system, a ballistic nylon-reinforced closure system and a premium PU-coated leather upper with a supporting substrate. The improved instep closure system and double nickel-plated D-rings help provide a secure and adjustable fit.
