Icetec ankle socks cut fixed
The ICETEC Level 5 cut-resistant ankle protection is a high-quality ankle protector for long-track speed skating and marathon skating. It features cut-resistant Dyneema all around the ankle and provides Level 5 ankle protection according to the stated ISU regulations. Its thin construction inside the skate boot combines a high level of protection with a comfortable fit.
All-round cut-resistant Dyneema
The ankle protector features Dyneema around the ankle and is designed to provide additional protection against cuts from sharp skate blades. The black design integrates discreetly with speed skating equipment and is available in four sizes.
Thin and comfortable inside the skate boot
The design specifically takes the close fit of speed skating boots into account. The Lycra section inside the boot is extremely thin and there are no seams underneath the foot. This helps minimise unnecessary bulk underneath the foot and allows the ankle protector to fit comfortably inside the skate boot.
Used in marathon and long-track speed skating
This ICETEC ankle protection is also professionally used by marathon speed skaters and long-track sprinters. The construction has undergone extended testing during 125-lap marathon races and has been developed with intensive racing use in mind.
