The Groothuis standard speed skating boot in black/gold is a high-quality carbon speed skating boot manufactured using the same production method as Groothuis custom-made skating boots. This gives skaters access to the knowledge and construction techniques used for custom boots, but in a standard model that does not require plaster moulds of the feet.
Anatomically shaped last for a precise fit
The Groothuis skating boot is manufactured on an anatomically shaped last. This provides the basis for a close fit around the foot and makes it possible to choose a high-quality skating boot without going through the complete custom-made boot process.
Carbon skating boot for feel and control
The boot is built around a carbon shell with standard stiffness. Its construction is designed to provide a direct connection between the skater and the skate, maintaining good feel for the ice. The torsional characteristics of the boot contribute to steering and control while skating.
Fully thermoformable construction
An important advantage of this Groothuis skating boot is its fully thermoformable construction. By heat moulding the boot, the fit can be further adjusted and optimised around the foot. This allows a standard skating boot to be shaped very precisely to the individual skater's foot.
Premium black and gold finish
This premium version of the Groothuis skating boot comes in a fixed black and gold colour scheme, giving the technical carbon boot an exclusive and distinctive appearance.

Return information
You can return items within 14 days. The 14 days are counted from the day of delivery, unless otherwise stated in the presentation of the article. Unused, unwanted items will be refunded to the customer minus shipping. Pay attention to the following for returning your bought article:
- Always return the article in the original packing
- Cards and labels may not be removed
- We cant accept articles which have been worn, used, damaged or any other way they dont fulfil to our guidelines as they have been send back
- Always add the return form, with the completed reason of return
If the above conditions aren't fullfilled your purchase wil be official, and we won't give you a refund and send your goods back to you.
