The Groothuis skating boots are manufactured on an anatomically shaped last. This provides a precisely shaped foundation for the fit, which can then be further adjusted to the individual skater's foot.

Fully thermoformable with vacuum fitting

An important feature of this Groothuis skating boot is its fully thermoformable construction. By heat moulding the boot and professionally fitting it using vacuum technology, the fit around the foot can be further optimised. This combines the convenience of a standard skating boot with extensive possibilities for individual adjustment.

Carbon shell for feel and control on the ice

The carbon shell with standard stiffness is designed to provide a good balance between support and feel for the ice. The torsional characteristics of the boot contribute to steering feel and control while speed skating.

Alcantara lining

The inside of the skating boot is lined with Alcantara. This gives the boot a refined, high-quality finish and contributes to a comfortable fit around the foot.
