The Groothuis Standard Speed Skating Boot Black/Gold is a high-quality carbon boot for long-track speed skating. Groothuis manufactures this standard skating boot using the same production method as its custom-made skating boots. This provides a high-quality construction and finish without requiring plaster moulds of the feet.
Anatomically shaped last for a precise fit
The Groothuis skating boot is manufactured on an anatomically shaped last. This allows the standard model to fit closely around the foot without requiring plaster moulding. The resulting fit provides a good foundation for further individual adjustment.
Fully thermoformable skating boot
The boot is fully thermoformable. By heat moulding the skating boot, the fit can be further adjusted and optimised around the individual foot. This combines the convenience of a standard model with the possibility of precise personal adjustment.
Carbon shell for feel and control on the ice
The carbon shell with standard stiffness is designed to provide a good combination of support and feel for the ice. The torsional characteristics of the boot contribute to steering feel and control over the skate.
Premium black and gold version
This premium version of the Groothuis standard skating boot comes in a fixed black and gold colour scheme. The combination gives this technical carbon skating boot an exclusive and distinctive appearance.

Return information
You can return items within 14 days. The 14 days are counted from the day of delivery, unless otherwise stated in the presentation of the article. Unused, unwanted items will be refunded to the customer minus shipping. Pay attention to the following for returning your bought article:
- Always return the article in the original packing
- Cards and labels may not be removed
- We cant accept articles which have been worn, used, damaged or any other way they dont fulfil to our guidelines as they have been send back
- Always add the return form, with the completed reason of return
If the above conditions aren't fullfilled your purchase wil be official, and we won't give you a refund and send your goods back to you.
