Gyron schaatshelm IceVolt met afneembare aero schaal
The IceVolt speed skating helmet is a compact and aerodynamic helmet designed for long track speed skating and short track. Thanks to the removable aero shell, you can easily choose between a sleek, streamlined design and additional ventilation. Practical details, including dedicated slots for sports glasses, make the IceVolt a versatile skating helmet for both training and competition.
Removable aero shell: aerodynamics or additional ventilation
The IceVolt features a removable aero shell. With the shell installed, the skating helmet has a sleek and streamlined design. Remove the aero shell and the ventilation openings are further exposed, allowing more air to circulate through the helmet. This makes it easy to adapt the helmet to the conditions and the intensity of your training or race.
Dedicated slots for speed skating or sports glasses
Special slots for sports glasses are positioned at the front of the helmet. These allow you to conveniently insert your speed skating or sports glasses into the helmet when you are temporarily not wearing them. A practical feature during training, competitions and time spent off the ice.
Tested for long track speed skating and short track
The IceVolt has been developed for long track speed skating and short track and is not intended as an ice hockey helmet. The helmet has been tested by SGS-CSTC Ltd. in accordance with the relevant ISU rules and the following ASTM specifications and test methods:
- ASTM F1849-23 – specification for speed skating helmets
- ASTM F1446-20 – test methods for protective headgear
- Relevant ISU regulations for speed skating helmets
The IceVolt is intended and tested for use during speed skating.
