The DoubleFF A3 boot has been specially developed for children starting with inline speed skating or short track. The boot combines excellent support with a comfortable fit while maintaining sufficient freedom of movement around the ankle. This makes the DoubleFF A3 an attractive choice for young athletes taking their first steps into competitive inline speed skating or short track.

Compared with the DoubleFF A2, the A3 features a higher ankle cuff. Combined with the adjustable ankle strap, this provides additional ankle support. The height has been carefully designed to give young skaters increased stability while maintaining sufficient ankle movement for good skating technique. Additional padding around the ankle and in the sole further improves comfort.

100% fibreglass and heat mouldable

The shell of the DoubleFF A3 is made entirely from fibreglass and contains no carbon. This makes the boot slightly heavier than the A2, although the difference remains limited in the smaller children's sizes. An important advantage is that the fibreglass shell is easily heat mouldable, allowing the boot to be shaped more accurately around the individual foot after heating. The fibreglass construction also helps provide an attractive price for a junior racing boot of this quality level.

Suitable for inline skating and short track

The sole features vertical mounting slots with additional threaded mounting holes on both sides. Combined with the horizontal adjustment slots found on many frames, this provides extensive possibilities for adjusting the position of the frame or blade. Additional threaded holes are available for more extreme mounting positions. This means the DoubleFF A3 can be configured not only for inline speed skating but also for short track speed skating.

Long-lasting comfort for young skaters

The A3 features high-density padding designed to retain its resilience for a long time, helping maintain cushioning, support and comfort even after extensive use. In addition to the ankle padding, the sole has a thicker padding layer than the A2. A strong buckle with an aluminium clip, semi-waxed laces and synthetic inner and outer materials complete the boot.
