The Gyron Skytrooper sports glasses are lightweight and versatile photochromic sports glasses designed for activities including speed skating, inline skating, running and cycling. The lightweight Grilamid TR90 frame is combined with strong, decentered polycarbonate lenses featuring high-contrast properties. The photochromic lenses react to changing light conditions and become darker as exposure to sunlight and UV increases. This reduces the need to continually change lenses when light conditions change during your activity.

Photochromic high-contrast lenses

The photochromic lenses of the Gyron Skytrooper automatically adjust their tint in response to UV light. As exposure to sunlight increases, the lenses become darker. Their high-contrast properties also contribute to clear and comfortable visual perception of the surroundings. This makes the Skytrooper particularly practical for training and sporting activities where light conditions can change during a ride or session.

Decentered polycarbonate lenses with 100% UV protection

The Skytrooper features strong and impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses. The special decentered lens construction is designed to reduce optical distortion and contribute to clear, comfortable vision. The lenses also provide 100% UV protection.

Individually adjustable sports glasses

A key feature of the Gyron Skytrooper is the extensive ability to personalise the fit. The glasses feature an adjustable nose bridge and bendable temples, allowing the position and fit to be adapted to the face. The adjustable temples also make it possible to fine-tune the fit when wearing the glasses with a cycling or speed skating helmet.

Lightweight Grilamid TR90 frame

The frame is made from Grilamid TR90, a lightweight and flexible material particularly well suited to sports eyewear. Its low weight and adjustable construction contribute to wearing comfort during longer training sessions and competitions.

Two Gyron Skytrooper versions

The Gyron Skytrooper is available in two distinctive versions. The White/Red version features a white frame with red temples and photochromic lenses whose tint changes from red towards smoke as they darken. A Transparent Smoke version is also available, featuring a transparent smoke-coloured frame with smoke lenses.
